Hi Przemek,
"standard" 04 ( April ) 10 ( October ) timeframe.
Comments?
Some changes may not be such trivial to add and finish in 6 months.
F.e. I'm just playing with Harbour threads and they work really nice.
The MT Harbour VM speed on platforms which have native TLS support is
better then ST xHarbour VM and in practice I resolved all critical
core code synchronization issues which were never even touched in
xHarbour.
If I'll find few spare days then I can try to finish some pending
issues, write few words for some basic documentation and commit it.
But if I'll commit to current 1.0.1 branch then in practice I'll block
all updates for 1.0. I changed a lot of code also for ST mode.
If we want to release 1.0.n with fixes only then I have to create
new branch for it (1.1.0) where we can make tests, modifications,
extensions without any dead line.
This can be done also, but to follow the plans, I think it'd
be slightly better if I'd just merge all current trunk changes
to 1.0 branch, and then you could instantly continue with 1.1
in the trunk as planned.
I was about to do this merge anyway, just been waiting for
some feedback.
Brgds,
Viktor
