Thanks Przemek.
I'll do some minimal update, but I'll leave the proper
documentation for someone else. The second part of
linux1st seems mostly outdated by now also.

* doc/linux1st.txt
* Updated with hbgf package requirement information.
For mouse support
sudo apt-get install libgpmg1-dev
should be changed to:
For console mouse support in GTTRM GTSLN and GTCRS:
sudo apt-get install libgpmg1-dev
GPM is used only in those three GTs and only when
harbour application is executed directly in console
without pseudo terminal. When you execute Harbour
application from remote terminal or terminal emulator
(XTERM, PTERM, ...) then mouse is supported without GPM
if terminal can report X11 mouse events.
I also suggest to add small info about:
./make_deb.sh
dpkg -i harbour-*.deb
and small note about hb* tools with redirection to doc/howtobld.txt
Probably we should also remove the section about manual building in
'DEBIAN distro' part - it's not longer necessary and some information
is not correct for current SVN code.
Description for Ubunto should be also valid in Debian.
Instead we should add small info for RPM based distributions:
./make_rpm.sh
maybe also about:
./make_tgz.zh
and:
./make_gnu.sh
best regards,
Przemek
