Sorry when I say make_gnu.sh I mean that I use make_gnu.sh alone
make_gnu.sh clean and make_gnu.sh install.

I need harbour.dylib since my apps uses it and I build my own dylibs (
BTW since there is no ld.conf I need to copy all the .dylib in
/usr/lib ).

The number of the contribs should not be a problem.

Sorry what is exactly the problem I should see?

Mine is an old ( but really cool ) iMac 15" Flat PPC 32. I've bought
and installed a new Leopard OS, new iLife 08, X11 and Developer Tools
packege that I found on the OS CD and since then I've done all the
updates.
I've never installed beta or other sw from Apple site.
The only third party sw I installed have been macports for gd and pgsql.

best regards,
Lorenzo
