Hi Przemek,
I'd like to propose to either rename hb_ArrayID() function
to __ArrayID() and/or move it to contrib/xhb.
This is pretty much alien for a language, and it doesn't work
reliably in 64bit. (and cannot even be fixed without breaking
compatibility)
If you are talking about .prg function then I agree to move it
to XHB library but changing the name is not good idea because
xHarbour has such function and if XHB library should give
compatibility
for xHarbour code ported to Harbour then we should keep the name.
Yes, I know it's needed by xhb, I wrote "and/or" because
in case we rename we can move the original name to xhb.lib :)
But I also prefer to simply move it to xhb. Which I'll do ASAP.
Please only remember that we have also C level function with the
same name which we have to keep because it's used by some other
code.
I meant the Harbour level one. (the C level one doesn't have
a return value problem, and I've seen it's used. I could have
been more specific, though sorry).
Brgds,
Viktor
