This doc is an early document about the structure of .HRB files. It was meant to be an FAQ for the .HRB files, not the Harbour FAQ (which has an old and unmaintained FAQ here: http://www.harbour-project.org/faq/harbour.html ) You can complie a PRG into HRB using the /gh switch, and execute it with the hbrun utility. harbour myTest.prg /w /a /n /gh hbrun myTest.hrb Like most of the docs in the repositoty it became rather old. I'm afraid that no serious work was done on the docs in the past 8 or so years. I patch a few files from time to time, but nothing new is added or fixed. > Can someone give status on this tool and should I spend any > more time trying to make it work on libgt? HBDOC is a utility that intended to take text files with comments and tags similar to the one used by the Nanforum library for Clipper, and output various output formats. This tool is not maintained for quite some times, it have some build in stubs to allow it to create the index section on the Harbour main doc section. And it was built in the Windows/DOS environment so it have a few problems with file casing when working under a case-sensitive file system. If you have the time, any contribution to maintain the docs or this program (probably needs a re-write) would be welcomed. If you just need the docs themself, well, there are general Clipper docs on the net (and printed books), there is the great doc work made by xharbour.com for their port. Or, you can just read the text files that we have, the structure is rather plain.
