I'm working on learning Harbour to convert some old clipper apps to Harbour w/WinAPI. Digging through docs on Beta 3 distribution, I have a couple simple questions:
1. Are "harbour portable objects" still a part of the Harbour project? The file: ..\harbour\doc\hrb_faq.txt talks only about this feature. If it's not used, then I suggest that file be deleted from distro. With a name like hrb_faq.txt, it is misleading too. 2. I worked with gendoc feature a little. Was able to run genhtm.bat on ..\harbour\doc and get a good htm collection. Tried it on ..\harbour\contrib\libgt\doc and only got partial htm. I can see from forum that this tool may be in limbo. Should this tool work? I don't know the history of this tool, but can see the simple structure of the doc txt files that it reads. Can someone give status on this tool and should I spend any more time trying to make it work on libgt? Thank you, Irv Paton
