did you have seen hb_OpenProcess(), hb_CloseProcess() and hb_ProcessValue(),
also with pure C level correspondant created in xharbour from Giancarlo ?
Those are multiplatform and I think that give all informations Lorenzo
needs, plus possibility to handle input, output and error streams.
Look at xharbour\source\rtl\philes.c and filesys.c and at
xharbour\tests\process.prg for sample.
