While it's fine to put references to GH issues to ease tracking, please always leave a bit of information in the commit message about what the intent of the patch is. Here I really have no idea, the issue above is long and discusses various things. In addition, if one day GH issues become inaccessible for any reason, the history is lost. Thanks! Willy
