I have a local>local rsync job (between two USB drives) which is pauses some time after the terminal window focus is lost. Restoring the focus by clicking the rsync terminal window restarts activity.
It doesn't seem to be just a matter of the terminal not updating, as watch -n 1 df in another window shows static target drive usage during "paused" periods, unless that isn't updating either, but I doubt that since as soon as the rsync terminal window is clicked, both it and the watch df terminal window show progress again. Does anyone know if this is a bug/how it can be avoided?
