The db file was written with adminisrator rights. Then I tried to access 
the db with a none admin user.
In the code of h2 there is a FileUtils.canWrite that returned false and 
thus put the db in read only mode.
I recompiled the code of h2 without this check and it worked find. That 
means this check (at least under Windows systems) does not mean you can't 
actually write the file...
