Am I correct in understanding that "Duplicate and empty values are not
permitted." means that here is no way for ENUM to be null?
And so the following code returns a table with the cell, which value is
"HOME" because of that?
CREATE TABLE TEST(
WORK ENUM('HOME', 'OFFICE', 'WALK', 'ERRAND', 'TRAVEL', 'PHYSICAL')
);
INSERT INTO TEST (WORK) VALUES (NULL);
SELECT * FROM TEST
