Unfortunately, that version was so long ago I don't remember if we fixed that specific issue, but we have definitely fixed quite a few LOB bugs since then.
What I would suggest is that you try running the latest 1.4 release with the old engine i.e. with ";MV_STORE=FALSE" in your URL, and see if the problem is still there.
