Danielle, are you referring to overall diameter or hole size?  If hole size...
• The smallest available American grommet is #00 (3/16").• Self-piercing
American #00 are not available (meaning they require a pre-punched hole).
That being said...

Self-piercing Turkish #00 are available; one factory even makes what they call
"X00" (11/64") and "XX00" (1/18") —they recommend purchasing a separate "hole
piercing die" but apparently it is not necessary.

Pre-punched holes are generally preferred for such small grommets to ensure
precise placement.  Personally, I wouldn't use a self-piercing die to set these
grommets, even if available (smallest I've ever used is #00 American) but the
technology exists.

***All of this assumes you own a machine and die, or at least a hand setter
(smallest available is #00).
Before I overwhelm you with source information... let's establish what setting
equipment you might already own, and/or what you're willing to purchase or able
to borrow.

Subject: [h-cost] Looking for tiny doll sized grommets, not eyelets

Hello everyone!

It's wonderful that this list is making a comeback, I've really missed it.  I'm
hoping that someone has a source for teeny tiny grommets.  I need actual
grommets, with the backs, not eyelets that split in the back.  I'm looking for
ones that are about 1/8th to 3/16th inch in size.

Cheers,
Danielle
