Hola socio, primero debes entrar en una consola o bien cambiar a otro
tty, una vez ahí pones ps -aux|grep aplicación, donde aplicación debe
ser el nombre del proceso que quieres cerrar, por ejemplo ps -aux|grep
apache. Eso debe imprimir algo como esto:
root 13751 0.0 3.3 36184 8416 ? Ss 21:07 0:00
/usr/sbin/apache2 -k start
donde el primer número es el PID, después pones esto kill -TERM #proceso
recuerda siempre que si no es un proceso iniciado por ti deberás tener
privilegios para hacerlo, ya sea con sudo en distros Debian Like o
haciéndote root en otras distros.
