Saludos list@:
La semana pasada debido a un apagon(corte de electricidad) uno de mis
servidores al iniciar, da los siguientes errores:
device - mapper: 4.1.0-ioctl (2003-12-10) initialised
Creating device - mapper devices......done.
Loading device - mapper support.
Setting up LVM Volume Groups Reading all physical volumes. This may take
a while....
Found volume group "var" using metadata type lvm2
device - mapper: *one of name or uuid must be suplied*, cmd(6)
device - mapper: *resume ioctl failed*: invalid argument
*Unable to resume var-var (254:0)*
1 logical volume(s) in volume group "var" now active
.
Will now check all file systems.
fsck 1.41.3 (12-oct-2008)
Checking all file systems.
[/sbin/fsck.ext3 (1) -- /tmp] fsck.ext3 -a -C0 /dev/hda7
/tmp: clean, 14/244320 files, 38933/488344 blocks
[/sbin/fsck.ext3 (1) -- /var] fsck.ext3 -a -C0 /dev/mapper/var-var
fsck.ext3:*Invalid argument while trying to open /dev/mapper/var-var*
/dev/mapper/var-var:
The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2
filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
fsck died with exit status 8
File system check failed.
ya probe con el comando:
e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/mapper/var-var
y nada me dice que:
e2fsck: Invalid argument while trying to open /dev/mapper/var-var

al parecer es algun problema a la hora de montar/identificar las
particiones que estan dentro del LVM, pues fisicamente parece no haber
problema con esos datos ya que la salida del comando *lvdisplay* me
muestra esto:
#lvdisplay
Incorrect metadata area header checksum
------ Logical volume ---------------
LV Name /dev/var/var
VG Name var
LV UUID pYF109-dQ57-Ujb5-BTde-104R-TA9m-IRR8Qm
LV Write Access read/write
LV Status available
# open 0
LV Size 107.56 GB
Current LE 27536
Segments 3
Allocation inherit
Read ahead sectors auto
- currently set to 256
Block device 254:0
o sea estan ahi solo que no puedo verlos ni abrirlos o montarlos,
cualquier ayuda sera bienvenida..... ;-)
saludos,
