Hi all, We've finished the fundraising campaign on the GNU Guix homepage.
The result is that after 4 months we're at about 75% of our goal. And, with many regular donors stepping forward I estimate that we're going to beat our goal by a lot! 🎉 If you'd like to know a bit more about it there's a new blog post and video summarising where we are: https://guix.gnu.org/en/blog/2026/result-of-sustain-and-strengthen-fundraising/ Of course, we'll continue to have the donations page, so if anyone wants to help the project out they can. The more we raise, the more we can do! But, the banner on the GNU Guix website is now down. Attention will move to how we can use the funds we raised to support the project. The first action on this front will be joining and supporting Codeberg e.V. who run our development infrastructure: that's all the git repos, issues, PR as well as being where all users `guix pull` their package information from.
