Hello Guix!

The FOSDEM tracks (“devrooms” in FOSDEM parlance) have been announced,
together with their calls for presentations, and deadlines are fast
approaching!

It’s a good way to spread the word about the cool things that we’re all
passionate about in Guix and Guile land.

First, there’s the unique, cozy, and friendly “Minimalistic computing”
devroom organized for the 10th time in a row I think (woow!) by fellow
hackers Pjotr Prins and Manolis Ragkousis, with help from other Guix
comrades:

  (deadline: Dec. 1st)

Then there are devrooms where we many not feel as much at home :-) but
that are a good way to reach out to people not familiar with Guix/Guile.
Here’s a selection of devrooms where I think we could bring something
interesting:

  - Containers

  - Testing and continuous delivery
    https://lists.fosdem.org/pipermail/fosdem/2025q4/003641.html (Dec. 1st)

I may submit something to the HPC track but I’m happy to coordinate with
others.

Don’t be shy and consider submitting a talk there, it’s fun!
