Hi,

I've been working on getting guix to cross-build for the Hurd this
morning, and announced that I was doing so on IRC.

Although your fix is much simpler and thus probably better than my fixes

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
00d81cbbe22 gnu: guix: Update to 1.4.0-39.837ddb07764.
837ddb07764 gnu: guix: Fix cross building [for the Hurd].
237ad2860cf maint: Fix building CODEOWENRS for cross builds.
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

that introduced a GUIX_FOR_BUILD package when cross-building and use
that to correctly build CODEOWENRS that I've been working on, it would
have been so nice if we would have had a chat on IRC about it; it would
have saved me a couple of hours of time this morning.

We also have both been making similar changes simultaneously on
core-packages-team and that bit me before. Is there any reason you do
not linger on IRC and/or do not notify others of what you're up to? I'm
usually very happy with what you're doing, that's not the problem but I
would really appreciate some better alignment. WDYT?

Greetings,
Janneke
