Sorry, I meant to say that I was having issues with figuring out why the test I
mentioned (module--test-assertions--call-emacs-from-gc)
failed. Because I got it to fail with the regular PGTK package, I thought it 
could be
helpful if the fix was discussed here, so that when emacs-next updates we 
wouldn't
have to face this again.
igc has already been packaged[1][2].
(But it's now broken on my channel, at least)

Thanks, that helps. And there's other things I could try:

- Check the status of the packages on Divya's channel
- Dig deeper into Emacs' code (look into the garbage collector, compilation...)
