I agree that accidental pushes could easily happen.

I filed a support request to the Savannah admins in the hope they can
prevent it on their side:

We’ll have to do it differently for guix.git.

And I guess at the end of the process we could remove most “members”
(committers) on Savannah, keeping only a handful of people who would be
able to manage mailing lists, mirroring bots, and the likes.
