I would not say "pressured", but I was a bit "disappointed" for I thought it was
the perfect use case for package inheritance.

Thanks for the offer! But:

- there’s no rush in having those packages in `master`;
- I still have to read some code to try to figure it out by myself; and
- it looks like the perfect practical exercise to work on during
  the next Guix@Paris! 😎
