I've pushed commits that accomplish these tasks to a 'wip-next-release' branch: https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/guix.git/log/?h=wip-next-release For now, the branch is a "work in progress" (WIP) and thus can be rebased, pending your feedback and consensus on a concrete plan for the release.
