The file data-service/branch-updated-emails.scm contains:
(x-git-newrev (assq-ref headers 'x-git-newrev)))
which is the issue. Instead, it should be
(x-git-rev (assq-ref headers 'x-git-rev)))
but maybe some filtering should be applied.
