Hello,

I decided no to push my Jami from git version, because I discovered it
lacks the typing indicator functionality from an unknown to me reason
(maybe some dependencies are bundled in tarballs).
Additionaly I got my code reviewed and therefore need some more time to
make my commits more stand alone (didn't know it was the case).

But I made a smaller, better patch set containing only the necessary
changes to make Jami working and up to date, until I discover why the
typing indicator is not there and clean up the mess.

Question: Is it normal all changes should be stand alone? Guix is my
first project I contribute to and first project I work on generally.
It wasn't documented in the manual, is it buried somewhere in the
coding standards?
