Please, when you remove patch references from (gnu packages ...), also remove the actual patch files using "git rm -f" and also remove the reference to the actual patch files from gnu/local.mk .
Likewise, when you are adding patch references to (gnu packages ...), also add the reference to the actual patch files to gnu/local.mk .
