There are a couple of things regarding the Shepherd that could be done, notably <http://www.gnu.org/software/soc-projects/ideas-2015.html#dmd_units>. It could be useful to continue on the GNUnet idea at <http://www.gnu.org/software/soc-projects/ideas-2015.html#guix>, or to look at alternative approaches or P2P stacks.
