The fix is to install a locale package and define LOCPATH accordingly: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/guix-devel/2015-05/msg00282.html /run/current-system exists on GuixSD (but obviously not on other systems). It contains the “system profile”, and in particular contains the locale data specified in the OS configuration (see <http://www.gnu.org/software/guix/manual/html_node/Locales.html>.) Thanks, Ludo’.
