Whenever I read "deal in the software without restriction", I think of x.org, which I packaged. So this looks like the x11 license: http://directory.fsf.org/wiki/License:X11 This license adds more sentences, from the second sentence of the second paragraph on: "In addition publicly documented acknowledgment must be given that this software has been used...". So I suppose you should use x11-style. Andreas
