Daemon update: rebuild!

I made another update of the ‘nix-upstream’ submodule, so make sure to
run:

  git pull  # should update ‘nix-upstream’ along with the rest
  ( cd nix ; ./sync-with-upstream )
  make clean
  make
  make check
