If you use gnu-build-system, you can use a "bootstrap" (or "autogen.sh") script that will run 'hall dist -x' (with HOME set to a meaningful directory name, otherwise it won't work in a guix build job) followed by 'autoreconf -vif'. https://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/manual/autoconf-2.67/html_node/autoreconf-Invocation.html Best regards
