release notes: "Hey ttn, requiring ttn-do as a dependency is lame."
Quite right. Even lamer is not mentioning GNU Go as a dependency in the 0.1 README! A good opportunity to fix some buglets and spew some more in HACKING, then, not to mention the irresistible call of the Goddess Procrastes... thi README excerpt: SGF Utils is a set of programs for manipulating Smart Game Format files, principally for the game of Go. This release includes one tool: the viewing program sgfv. The code is "early to middling alpha"; see HACKING for why. NEWS excerpt: - 0.2 | 2012-10-28 - dropped dependency: ttn-do SGF Utils no longer requires ttn-do. Hooray for code reuse? - bugfix: messages cleanly overwrite Previously, back-to-back messages w/ M1 wider than M2 (e.g., M1 "no variations" and M2 "no more") would result in text from M1 showing up in M2. This no longer occurs. - bugfix: "make check" substitutes VERSION correctly Previously, the well-meaning but ultimately wrong auto-fu was used to generate file src/sgf/eg from template, resulting in the property ‘EV’ having value "sgfv @VERSION@ demo". Now we DTRT. - sgfv now ignores pre-collection text SGF allows pre-collection text, to facilitate handling of email saved to a file, for example. Previously sgfv barfed on that. Now, it ignores it, up to a "(;" at bol (leading whitespace notwithstanding). Strictly speaking, there could be whitespace between the open-paren and the semicolon; sgfv still loses in that case. - bootstrap tools upgraded - guile-baux-tool (Guile-BAUX) 20121026.1208.c21074a - Guile 1.8.7 - snuggle (SNUGGLE) 0.1 - gnulib-tool (GNU gnulib 2012-09-10 20:37:18) 0.0.7617-6418d - autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.69 - automake (GNU automake) 1.12.4 tarball, prettified source, etc, in dir: http://www.gnuvola.org/software/sgf-utils/ atom feed: http://www.gnuvola.org/NEWS.xml.gz -- Thien-Thi Nguyen .....................................
