For ltdl, my instinct is "no". Just MHO :) I imagine no one likes to hear the curmudgeon spew, but i feel it is my duty (to GNU, Guile, and my fellow programmers) to trot out a reminder: Live by the snub, die by the snub. When someone applies the same instinct a few years down the line, the libltdl reimpls (multiple, one per Guile release) will most likely suffer from the same pronouncement. It will be a lot of work for everyone involved to return to the true upstream from the usurper, and that work will not be done gladly. -- Thien-Thi Nguyen .....................................
