Anyway GtkFileChooser uses GIO and GVFS
<https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/gvfs>, which supports many protocols
<https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/gvfs/backends>, including SMB.
It's very likely that GtkFileChooser is able to browse network shares on
Windows.
Do you use MSYS2 or vcpkg?
