Hi Raster,
I wont comment on the gtk+ part except that it seems intentional that you have
an action area or headerbar but not both simultaneously.
Glade has support for headerbar and a few others only in 3.19.x dev releases.
Its been an unfortunate reality historically that you need a bleeding edge
glade to work with recent gtk+ (admittedly we got further behind last year but
we're always behind by at least one cycle at our best).
We hope to address this by rolling out self contained linux distro-agnostic
binaries, ill see if i can roll one of those for 3.19 soon, in the meantime,
one option is to build glade in a jhbuild sandbox to access the headerbar
support.
