Hi, I don't entirely understand your question. GLib and Xlib aren't really comparable.
GLib is a utility library that adds hash tables, lists, IO abstraction, platform abstraction and also an object system used by GTK +. If I misunderstood, could you please elaborate a bit on what you meant?
