In the remote case you haven't get here, this is the Reference Manual for libglade. http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/libglade/ Do you refer to this when saying it is inadequate? I learned from it when I first began coding with GTK+, and I had no previous *real world* experience with programming (i.e., I was a really unexperienced beginner). I found it, along with the source code of random examples in the internet, good enough to learn how to use libglade[1]. > Even the GTK reference is questionable as I find reference to GTK functions > that are not in the GTK index nor locatable in sections dealing with the > widget involved. I don't understand exactly what you mean here, but please, if you find problems with the GTK+ documentation, fill bugs in the GNOME Bugzilla, under the product GTK+, component "docs". http://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=gtk%2B Claudio [1] I even wrote a quick 'n dirty howto on setting up a gtk/gnome project with libglade and autotools. Unfortunately for you, in spanish, but the source code may be helpful anyway (for the curious spanish reader, beware: I wrote it as personal notes to help me understanding better what I was doing, so it probably sucks because of the unexperience I had at that time). http://www.gnome.org/~csaavedr/documents/usinglibglade/index.html -- Claudio Saavedra <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------- Este correo fue enviado por http://alumnos.utalca.cl _______________________________________________ gtk-app-devel-list mailing list gtk-app-devel-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-app-devel-list
