Hello all,

Have anybody ever created a simple flowchart designer in GTK? No, I am
not talking about Dia. The fact is that I would like to create a
flowchart design app with 5 or 6 simple shapes, plus straight-lines
connector "arrows", with a variable text displayed on each occurence of
the shape in the diagram. The user would just click in buttons that
would make those shapes appear, and clicking once in the tip of the
connector arrow, and once in one of the drawn shapes, the connection
would be made.

I simply don´t have a clue of where to start with that. I am trying to
understand how Dia works, but it is FAR more complicated than what I
need, specially because it is a general-purpose diagram maker. So,
folks, which approach do you think should be the best for GTK? Which
components/widgets could be useful?

Thank you and best regards!
