*please send me Minimum of 10 years of experience* *Must be able to manage complete Exadata technology * Position: Oracle Database Administrator Location: Phoenix, AZ Type: 1 year contract Job Summary This position will be responsible for day to day database administration for oracle databases running on Exadata 3x-2 and single instance databases running on Windows server. The responsibilities will include database/Exadata patching, upgrading, installing, configuration, optimization and monitoring. This position will also will require candidate to coordinate all database administration activates with business to minimize any adverse impact on applications and customers. Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, engineering or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience is required. Responsibilities and duties Monitors and maintain Production, Development and QA databases for issues of storage, performance and operability.. Provides technical support to users, answering their requests for data access or utility function. Supports department and user requests for database refreshes and updates. Troubleshoots problems related to Oracle databases. Patches software to fix bugs or maintain supported levels. Participates in department projects to provide a database perspective and to perform data tasks. Responds to Ad Hoc Query Requests. Supports TSS for Database Client installs. Assumes additional responsibilities as requested. Provide off hour support. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
