*Job Title:* Senior Business Analyst *Location: *Orange County, CA *Duration: *5-6 Months *Job Description* Background requirements: Fixed income asset management working knowledge/experience with strong Markit experience *Role & responsibilities: * -Senior Business Analyst w/ solid knowledge and implementation experience with Markit, enterprise data management system -Abilities to elicit, gather, and document business requirements, develop functional requirements, and translate such to technical specifications and supporting use cases -Analyze application and data requirements -Assist in the development of quality software applications -Works with IT team members to maintain solutions and ensure systems meet the needs of the global organization in terms of functionality and quality -Provides support to business associates on systems usage, as needed *Skill Requirements* -Deep business operational workflow knowledge in a typical trading environment throughout the trading life cycle from OMS, Compliance, Settlements, etc. -Understand and document global, regional, and local business processes for the specific business area (e.g., finance, supply chain) -Knowledgeable of system configurations and/or development to support initial implementations and subsequent process optimization efforts -Excellent working knowledge of Bloomberg, IDC, Merrill Lynch -Familiar/experience with agile development methodology and application development life cycle practices -Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) preferred in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
