*Title : Business Analyst * *Location : Westlake Village, CA* *Duration : 12 month contract * JOB DESCRIPTION The position is for an IT Business Analyst who has some project management skills to lead the implementation of custom SQL*LIMS code called “Cross Instance” for multiple Bioscience facilities with the sole purpose of allowing exchange of Quality testing information between multiple LIMS database instances. The project requires fulfilling multiple roles including gathering User Requirements, Workflow Analysis, SQL*LIMS template configuration update, Development testing, Troubleshooting, Status Reporting, Drafting of Validation Documents, and Issue Management. A fair amount of project management will be required. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble Project Plans for Multiple Implementations • Managing Project Schedules & Resources • Reporting Project Status • LIMS Template Updates & Development Testing (A preferred skill) • LIMS Development Testing & Troubleshooting • Drafting Validation Documents (A preferred skill) • SOP Updates • Change Control • This role is NOT responsible for coding or peer review of source code The candidate should have a proven track record of managing IT initiatives within the Pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of the Quality Laboratory and Manufacturing environments. The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent skills in project management, communication, business analysis, and time management. The person must be able to effectively communicate with remote team members via standard email, telephone, and WebEx tools. Individual should have experience with cGXP and have firm understanding of Validation fundamentals. *The candidate should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following applications: SQL*LIMS v5, Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Trackwise 8, SharePoint, Outlook, WebEx, Microsoft Project*. At least 5 years working experience deploying IT related projects. PMP Certification and SQL*LIMS Certification a plus.
