*Location : Juno Beach, FL* *Duration : 1 year contract* * * *Must Haves: * • 6+ years experience in Teradata analysis, design and development with high performance/scalable data warehousing applications • Extensive experience with Teradata tools and utilities including but not limited to BTEQ, PMon, Teradata Manager,Teradata Administrator, SQL Assistant • Extensive experience in performance monitoring and tuning • Atleast 3+ years experience in developing ETL packages using SQL Integration Services (SSIS) • Experience using SSIS configurations for elevating packages from one environment to another • In depth knowledge of both relational and dimensional data models • Excellent written documentation skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Excellent self management skills (task lists, status reports, and prioritization) • Commitment to quality, performance and timely deliverables *PLUS:* • Any SAP BW - Teradata Data Integration project experience • Teradata Master • SQL Server certification *Day to Day:* As a Senior Teradata Developer, you will provide leadership in application design, expert level programming/analysis skills and performance optimization. You will be asked to provide complex, high-level technical support for these systems and have a broad conceptual understanding of capabilities and direction of technology, particularly Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence technologies. ETL development using SQL Server SSIS is required. You must have strong technical skills with experience building end to end business intelligence solutions. The position requires strong problem solving and organizational skills. You should have experience in all stages of solution delivery including analysis, design, construction, testing, deployment and support. *Primary Duties:* • Design and implement cost-effective, technically correct database solutions based on business specifications • Performance tuning and analysis including identifying and troubleshooting poorly performing queries and providing performance improvement recommendations • Developing ETL packages using SSIS 2008 in windows environment • Collaborate with the business subject matter experts, business analysts, functional leads, architects and technical leads from other disciplines to come up with end to end solutions to meet the assigned business requirements • Interact with customers to achieve efficient, effective results with respect to database development and enhancement. • Act as database and SQL liaison and mentor for development team.
