I ported that on top of grub2 upstream this January. It is based on upstream of 2015-01-28. so need to revert 4fe8e6d f348aee c52ae40 49426e9 cf2b4a3 from current upstream. We (x86 system group) have used it internally for a while. It solved all the uefi pxe booting problems that we met with grub2, like 1g intel supper slow, or 10g intel does not even start.
