2 and 3 actually. But if it didn't notice this it wouldn't be able to read them in the first place. I couldn't replicate it on my newly-installed debian squeeze since for some strange reason I can't launch kpartx (and /dev/mapper is missing)

still fails.
Couldn't reproduce it. Can you check that you don't have any changes in your tree compared with HEAD?

But it does seem able to find the filesystem of md/0 and md/1 now.
