This patch adds a number of different tests to the 'videotest' command, including a benchmark test that tabulates the performance results for various video modes and graphics operations.
The tests are accessed by specifying the name as an argument, such as: videotest bench Also, most tests support a time value (-t/--time to specify the time to run the test in seconds), and double buffering can be requested by specifying -d/--dbuf. The grub_rect_t type is included in video.h because it is used not only in the videotest module, but is also used extensively in the gfxmenu code (an upcoming patch). Regards, Colin
