I admit I let my intended follow-up to this list fall onto the floor thanks in part to a SNAFU with trying to mail all the active developers on duty via their GNU Savannah IDs, which did not really work. In the end I only heard back from about half the group. So, for the record, if anyone wants to do something like that, you'll need to gather developers' preferred email addresses for yourself and email them. Savannah can't necessarily help with such a procedure.
