It didn't take long to bone up on original tbl, and it just works, even

if quite differently in terms of input. There's ample documentation,

which describes automatically repeating the heading when a table runs over

several pages. That alone is worth the switch.

I can't see myself going back to hdtbl now, even if it is fixed, so

it's users-- there, I suspect.
