Yes, it would. In the meantime, groff_diff(7) covers it (and has for many years). The only reason groff(7) doesn't is that it for a long time it did not resemble a comprehensive language reference. As I've whacked on groff's Texinfo manual, I've frequently made parallel changes (or, frequently, "ported" text from Texinfo to man(7)) to that man page. Sections of our Texinfo manual that I haven't yet revised have not enjoyed that parallelization process. The "Using Symbols" node of our Texinfo manual may be the most conspicuous one remaining.
