True, mom does have DOCTYPE LETTER, which provides a template for creating correspondence, however it is skewed in the direction of standard North American business correspondence. DIN 5008 is not natively supported, but mom, like most macro packages, can be used as a starting point to generate any kind of document you like. > But, please don't mention "typewriter" in your correspondence -- > it will be embarrassing for the rest of us to watch a grown man > cry. :-) This grown man's not weeping. :) Mom has always implemented switching between typewritten and typeset copy of the same document (with the PRINTSTYLE directive), a functionality I find indispensable for generating hard copies of drafts for blue penciling. My way of saying, "Don't be afraid of the t-word." Neatly formatted, typewritten/double-spaced still has its place. -- Peter Schaffter https://www.schaffter.ca
