Thanks, Thérèse. I'm afraid I may need still more help. I'm trying to .htaccess some spot fixes for known stale URLs on the Web. However, I'm having a lot of trouble. You can observe my comedy of errors here. https://web.cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/groff/groff/manual/.htaccess?view=log Is there a way to achieve what I want from this project's own .htaccess file, or does the fact that html_node URLs are already getting rewritten foreclose this possibility? It's okay if the answer is the latter; it may be not be a good use of time to try to fix every stale pre-groff-1.23.0 URL on the Internet, and anyway, for the issue I chose to tackle for my trial run, the ms macro package's legacy strings for accent marks are _not_ the way anyone should be trying to typeset Vietnamese.
