groff 1.23.0 does a lot more font description file validation[1] than 1.22.4 did. All you need to do is edit the font description files to resolve the warning. Maybe the Makefile from this thread should be updated to run sed(1) on the generated font description file--just a guess, I haven't even looked at it yet.
